I spent well into my mid-20s feeling disconnected from my body, wanting the void I felt to be filled by being chosen by another. I lacked confidence and struggled with self-worth, unsure if I was truly deserving of my desires.

Through ten years of internal and relational work, life began to unfurl in beautiful and heartbreaking ways. My capacity to hold the full spectrum of being human expanded. My relationships became more real - a haven to grow, stretch, and reveal more of myself.

The people I allow into my circle- friends, lovers, collaborators; are chosen with greater discernment. I laugh more, weep deeply, and love viscerally. I still feel longing and insecurity at times, but they no longer own me.

As Blu said, “The very seed of a limitation, a challenge, holds the seed of your greatest gift.”

The challenges experienced pointed me toward my innate gifts: connection, depth, wild expression, erotic power, and the quiet liberation of choosing aliveness.

This is what has drawn me to teaching and creating spaces where others can taste and step into what I’ve unlocked in myself.
